Inspiration for 2025
Happy Holidays & Happy New Year! 🎉
As the holiday season wraps up, I want to take a moment to wish you all peace, joy, and renewal as we step into 2025. This time of year is often full of reflection and anticipation, but I want to challenge a common tradition: New Year’s resolutions.
I’ve never been a fan of resolutions. Why? Because for so many of us, they create a sense of failure. We set lofty goals without giving ourselves the tools, support, or realistic steps to achieve them. We aim for the stars but forget to build the ladder to climb there.
That’s why I’ve shifted my focus to celebrating small wins. Instead of setting ourselves up to feel like we’ve failed, why not design goals that are sustainable and achievable? Why not lean into the gentler truth that we don’t need a specific date to set a goal?
✨ This is your life—you get to design it. There are no rules. ✨
For me, the new year is an opportunity to reflect and reset, but I’ve found that resolutions aren’t the best way to do that. Instead, I’ve embraced a practice that feels kinder and more grounded: choosing a word of the year.
In 2024, my word was ease. I sought more ease in my body, my heart, and my life. That word became a guiding light. It didn’t mean every moment was easy, but it reminded me of my larger vision every time I needed to reset or reflect on my growth.
As I look ahead to 2025, my word is arrive.
To me, “arrive” represents the beauty of constant becoming. We are always evolving into deeper, more embodied versions of ourselves. It’s about celebrating who we are in this moment while staying open to where we’re headed.
It also carries a sense of magnetism. This year, I want to lean back and allow life to meet me, rather than chasing after every goal. In my health, my relationships, and my work, I want to trust the process of arrival—and give myself space to explore what that feels like.
This practice has been transformative for me, and I want to share it with you. Instead of setting a resolution, ask yourself:
✨ What is one word that reflects who I want to be or how I want to feel in 2025?
This word can serve as a gentle anchor, helping you reflect on your progress and align with your deeper intentions. It’s a simple yet powerful reframe that invites more grace into your life.
If you’re ready to explore your goals—or work backwards from big dreams to create sustainable, achievable steps—I’d love to help. Together, we can find what’s realistic, aligned, and heart-centered for you.
Here’s to a year of growth, reflection, and celebrating every small win. 💛
Wishing you a joyful and intentional start to 2025.
Warmly,
Lauren
